It’s another lazing Sunday for me, yeah…stay at home again! Sometimes I really wonder why I am such a hermit, should have go out more often. I had planned to go shopping and have dinner with my PSB Classmate today but unfortunately some of the chaps can’t make it and the gathering was eventually cancelled. Nvm, I’ll get to see them tomorrow again in class provided I don’t have to be present for meeting after work tomorrow.

Talking about work, I’m so glad with how everything is working out now. There will be a change in job scope and I’ll no longer be assisting a relationship officer anymore. I’ve got my own laptop and will have a satellite branch at Robinson Road from this Friday onwards. Before taking my new appointment in Robinson, I’ll be at Canon headquarter in Harbourfront to do GE Money first corporate roadshow. I’m looking forward to it. Hehe….

Although I’m still on contract, I believe this will be the opportunity to prove my ability. In the past, I was with UOB Travel Planners where I don’t feel recognized for the effort and time I put in. Over here, I received rave compliments from many and I guessed I had played my cards right so far. Hopefully, I will continue to do so. = p

Oh yeah, I finally bought a new hand phone and it’s Sony Ericsson W800i. Its real cool man…I bought it because of its design. It’s white and orange in color, very stylish and sporty. The stereo speaker also rocks when I use the walkman function. The only flaw shall be its keypad which is rather uncomfortable when smsing. Nevertheless, I’m a satisfied user.

Have wanted to update my blog for ages but was busy doing my HRM assignment last week. Phwee…finally completed that, it’s back to normal life. My family returned from China last week and with them they bought back moments of joy in both photographs and videos. How I envy them as I browse through the photos and video they took. My beloved niece also wrote me a letter and asked my family to bring it back for me. How sweet can that be man! I’ve uploaded some pictures my family took in China….

For this week, it had been quite a good week. Beside submitted my assignment, I’ve been attached 2 days to telesales department in GE headquarter in Collyer Quay. I was also colleague with Eric for one day as he just joined the telesales department, he’s previously from Disbursement. I got to met a few cool chaps by the name of William, Adrian, Stanley and Alvin. Apart from the good companionship, the job scope was pretty routine. It was certainly an exposure but I can’t imagine myself doing that everyday. However it’s a feast for the eyes when it’s lunch time, there’s no shortage of pretty ladies in executive suits. Hmm….I thinks that turns me on. =x

On my 2nd day, I had this customer who is really tmd!! The conversation goes like this:

Me: How old are you sir?

Bastard: I’m 59

Me: 59 years old?

Bastard: Nope…1959

Me: (I was like …………………) Sir, so how old are you then?

Bastard: 1959 lor….you say how old leh?

Me: Can’t you just tell me how old are you? (Can’t bother to calculate)

Bastard: Young man, your maths very lousy huh? Can’t you calculate?

Me: Yah, my maths very lousy one…you want me calculate ah? U wait ah!!

Knn…this type of customer really asshole right? I’ve came across all sort of customers from my experience. There are some who are such a snob even when it comes to taking a loan. There are also the humble and sincere types, whom I felt sorry for when their loans got rejected. One thing I realize, Singaporeans are really to accessible to credits. I’ve seen their plight and will heed not to follow their footsteps. Many are earning 5-6k per month yet, they owe banks 20-30k. The richer you get, the poorer you are?

What a sad plights most Singaporeans have got themselves into. Spend only what you can afford, a penny for your thought…….

Free flow of drinks, a bowl of sharks fin, and 3 hours of singing for just $10++ per person. Woo...where to find right? Those interested to know more...drop me a note then. =)

Sorry peeks for my slow updates, think you guys used to it already right? Hee…since today is my special day, I shall update it then. What’s so special day about today? It’s my 24th birthday! I’m growing one year older again…but I can seek comfort from a Chinese saying when guy reaches 30, he’s a dragon. What about women then when they reached 30? A worm! Hee…

Had another boring day in office yesterday and thus drew a picture in one of my library’s receipts. As I was going to watch The Myth later in the day, the subject of the picture was what else but the movie itself. Actually it was more of scribble than drawing, and here is the result of 10 min of scribbling. =p

The Myth was really nice and I enjoyed it a lot. The cast, especially with Kim Hee-seon so pretty, what are the guys waiting for? Although Jacky isn’t really fame for his singing, the movie soundtrack which is a duet by him and Kim is very romantic and nice. However be warned that some scenes are really far fetched and the ending was rather disappointing. Still, I shall recommend you guys not to miss this movie…cos it’s nice!

The movie was watched with some of my poly friends. We know each other when we are student coordinators for our faculty, Business Studies. I had joined that to break out of my introvert personality; hmm…it’s already 5 years since…have I succeeded? I believe so bah. It’s been rather long I met up with them and although not all can make it, heartwarming to meet up with these peeks, Angela, Pauline, Steven, Khairul.

After the movie, we went Spinelli, Herren to have a drink. I ordered a yucky drink called fruiti tutti, don’t order that if you ever go Spinelli, this drink sucks man! They suggested go db0 to chill it, to celebrate my birthday. However I declined the offer, as I was too sleepy and tired. I’m the lazy worm again.

So what’s for today, my birthday? It’s work as usual but I took half day leave for a medical appointment at National Skin Centre. I had lunch with Samantha first before going home to laze first. The medical appointment was damm expensive but it’s a specialist consultation lah, so no complains here. Bought KFC home and really enjoyed it with my newspaper reading, listening to classical pieces.

I also received many birthday wishes from good friends and long time no contact friends. They come in forms of friendster’s testimonies, smes and phone chats. Adrian, my ex-neighbor even came over and we had a few glasses of Tequila with coke. It’s also been quite some time I chatted with him since he moved house to Boon Lay. Okay…I’ve decided to rather spend my birthday slacking at home when sec sch frens like Choon Hwa and Christine asked me out. How lazy can I be man?

Ermm….for those who have been reading my blog, should know how lazy I’m by the frequency I update my blog right? Hehe… =p

It's been a long long time since I updated my blog, it's all due to my laziness. I'm still suprised there are still some of you guys who still check out my blog now and then. Gam Xia ah... =p

I'm now into my 2nd month with GE Finance. I really enjoyed working there compared to my UOB Travel days. I'm now located in Bukit Merah Singapore Post which is just a stone throw away from my house. 10 mins bus ride only! I start work at 8.30am but I always left home at 8.15am.

In my working place, I had the great accompany from Samantha and Mun Kit. Samantha is my relationship officer while Mun Kit is the prudential guy with us at the 2nd level. Samantha is the nicest superior I have ever had before. We got along very well and we always chat and joked, talking anything under the sun. She's a very funny gal, 2 years older than me....a joy to be with.

Mun Kit, always msn chat with his laptop...wonder how he reach his target when he got no walk ins. He's a very smart lad who's very deep into psychology studies...I'm always overwhelmed by his profund knowledge.

After 1 month with GE, I think I fared pretty well. My superior sang praises of me to the boss and the relationship officer at Clementi also gave me a boost. I was there helping her for one day only and she requested to boss whether I can be transfered to her branch to assist her. All thanks to both relationshhip officers, the Boss commented that he's very impressed with me. Everything flows so smoothly man...falling into pieces. =)

Went KTV session with my classmates last nite at Party World, and it's cool man (took lots of photos). I'll pass my thumbdrive to Shireen and will upload them next week.

Actually I'm in a rather foul mood now....really pissed off by my aunty..an insensitive chatterbox with a poisonous tongue. I'm left in anger, sadness and vexed by her....but thanks to some caring souls who hear me out...thanks guys for ur listening ears.....I appreciate it. =)
